Reflecting on Faith: My Journey Through the Book of Mormon

Image
Today, I want to share something personal—an experience that has shaped my faith and perspective. Recently, I decided to read the Book of Mormon chronologically. I just finished the Book of Ether, which is the second-to-last book in the Book of Mormon. This book, like many testaments of Jesus Christ, explores themes of faith, repentance, and the blessings that come from acting in faith. It also warns of the consequences that come when we forget about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Reading Ether prompted me to reflect deeply on my own journey. I realized it was time to open up and share my story with you. Growing Up in the Church I was born a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have always had a strong testimony. Home Management: Creating an Orderly, Heavenly Home

Home Management: Creating an Orderly, Heavenly Home Introduction Hello everyone! For this post, I’m drawing inspiration from a guided reference I found on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints website (link above). This resource will be the foundation for my next few blog posts. Home and family are central themes in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It’s no surprise, then, that the Church offers rich guidance on managing our homes with purpose and love. An Orderly Home is a Heavenly Home I recently searched for quotes about the power of an orderly home, and I’d love to share some favorites. I’ve bolded the ones that resonated with me most. What are some quotes you’ve come across? Please share in the comments—I’d love to know! Jani Ortlund: “I believe that a godly home is a foretaste of heaven.” She also writes, “Our homes, imperfect as they are, must be a haven from the chaos outside,” and “They should be a reflection of our eternal home, where troubled ...

Welcome to the New Chapter of My Blog Hello, friends! My name is Taylor Morgan Turley, and I am thrilled to relaunch this blog with renewed purpose and energy. If you’ve been here before, you might notice things look a little different. That’s because I’ve decided to start fresh, and I’m excited to share why.  Why the Fresh Start? In the past, I leaned heavily on AI to not only help with my writing but sometimes, take over. While AI is an incredible tool (and I’m not here to knock it!), I found myself losing the drive to push my own creative boundaries—both as a writer and as a homemaker. So, I took down my old posts and decided to begin again, this time with a renewed commitment to authenticity and personal growth. While I do ...
